I Plateia: New Cypriot Comedy at Rialto Open-Air Stage

Theatre ΑντίΛογος presents «I Plateia» (The Square), a brand-new Cypriot comedy at the Rialto Open-Air Stage in Limassol, Cyprus, on Tuesday 14 July 2026 at 21:00. Co-produced with Solo gia Treis, this marks the company's 10th anniversary of artistic presence in Cyprus.

Written specifically for this production by Eleni Anastasiou and Aris Kyprianou, «I Plateia» invites audiences to a shared theatrical celebration filled with truths, music and humour. It brings to life stories spanning three generations of Cypriots and places on stage everything that preoccupies us today. Running time: 70 minutes.

Seven actors and a live musician create the square of the festival — that metaphorical and literal place where we meet, speak or fall silent, where we pass each other by. The Square gives voice to our sometimes invisible sense of community.
