Aleksandr Girshon is a dance movement therapist and author of books on dance therapy and integral dance, including a book on the basic themes of dance therapy published in Russian. He led a three-day dance and movement training titled Being on Your Own Side: Criticism, Compassion and Development at the School of Ballet Demetra in Paphos on 16 to 18 October 2026.
