Bob Dylan — Events in Cyprus

Bob Dylan is one of the most celebrated and influential figures in the history of popular music. Born Robert Allen Zimmerman in Duluth, Minnesota in 1941, he emerged from the Greenwich Village folk scene in the early 1960s and rapidly became the defining voice of a generation with songs like Blowin' in the Wind, The Times They Are A-Changin', and Like a Rolling Stone. Over a career spanning more than six decades, Dylan has released over 40 studio albums, sold more than 125 million records worldwide, and won virtually every major honour available to a musician, including the Pulitzer Prize Special Citation and the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 — the first musician to receive the Nobel in literature. His influence on rock, folk, pop, country, and the broader culture is immeasurable. Dylan's appearance at the Pissouri Amphitheatre in Cyprus brought one of music's most iconic figures to the island's spectacular clifftop outdoor venue.
