Daishin Kashimoto

Daishin Kashimoto (born 1979 in Paris) is a violinist of Japanese-German heritage who has held the prestigious position of concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic since 2010. Trained at the Berlin Hochschule für Musik and with Zakhar Bron, he is recognised as one of the finest violinists of his generation, performing as both a soloist and chamber musician worldwide.
