Dara Ó Briain

Dara Ó Briain is one of Ireland's best-loved and most successful comedians, born in Bray, County Wicklow in 1972. A former child performer and quiz show champion, he built his stand-up career in the 1990s before breaking through to mainstream success in the UK as host of Mock the Week (BBC Two), one of the most-watched comedy panel shows of its era. His stand-up specials — including Craic Dealer, Crowd Tickler, and his Netflix special So Where Were We? — showcase his trademark rapid-fire delivery, audience interaction, and sharp intellect, covering science, technology, gaming, and the absurdities of modern life.
