Günther Groissböck

Günther Groissböck is an Austrian bass-baritone born in Lower Austria in 1975, widely regarded as one of the leading operatic voices of his generation. He studied at the Vienna Conservatory and has since pursued an international career at the world's greatest opera houses, including the Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Bayreuth Festival, and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. His roles span the great bass-baritone repertoire from Mozart, Wagner, and Verdi to Strauss and contemporary opera.
