Konstantin Raikin

Konstantin Raikin is one of Russia's most celebrated theatre actors and the Artistic Director of Satirikon Theatre in Moscow, which he has led since 1988. Born in Leningrad in 1950, the son of the legendary Soviet comedian Arkady Raikin, Konstantin built his own formidable career on the stage, becoming one of the most acclaimed Russian actors of his generation. Known for his extraordinary physical virtuosity, charismatic stage presence, and ability to command audiences across comedy and tragedy, Raikin has been central to the artistic life of Satirikon for over three decades, directing and performing in productions that have defined Russian theatre. His performance at the Pattihio Theatre in Limassol was a significant cultural event for Cyprus's Russian-speaking arts community.
