LOBODA (Svetlana Loboda) is a Ukrainian pop star born in Kyiv in 1982 who has become one of the most commercially successful and artistically ambitious artists in the post-Soviet music world. Beginning her career as part of the group Nu Virgos, she embarked on a solo career that has made her one of the most popular performers across Ukraine, Russia, and Eastern Europe, with massive hits including Твои Глаза (Your Eyes), Americano, and Случайная (Accidental). Known for electrifying live performances, provocative stage aesthetics, and consistently strong production values, LOBODA has sold out arenas across the former Soviet space. Her appearance at Monte Caputo in Limassol was a significant event for Cyprus's large Russian and Ukrainian-speaking communities.
