Shimza

Shimza (real name Ashley Raphala) is a South African DJ and producer from Tembisa, Johannesburg. A pioneer of the Afro tech and Afro house movement, he has risen to international prominence with releases on Adam Beyer's Drumcode Records, performances at Tomorrowland, and a sold-out show at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. He blends deep African rhythms with European techno sensibilities.
