Halloween in Cyprus 2026: Parties, Kids Events & Dates

Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday 31 October, and Cyprus has more than 30 Halloween events on our listings for the last week of October: pumpkin carving and kids' parties in the daytime, costume parties and club nights after dark. Limassol has the most by far, Nicosia has the biggest night out, and there is something in Larnaca, Paphos, Ayia Napa and Protaras too.

One thing to know before you plan: the clocks go back one hour on Sunday 25 October, so evening events from then on start in the dark.

Halloween in Limassol

Limassol has the longest programme on the island. It starts with craft afternoons and pumpkin carving on the weekend of 24 and 25 October and ends with a full Saturday on the 31st, from a dog run on Molos in the morning to club nights that finish after 2 am.

Halloween in Nicosia

Nicosia saves almost everything for the night of the 31st, and its venues are the strangest: an abandoned shopping mall, the 33rd floor of a tower, and a psytrance night at Ktima Camelot.

Halloween in Ayia Napa, Protaras and around

CyHerbia in Avgorou runs the biggest family Halloween in the east, and the clubs in Ayia Napa and Protaras use the 31st as their end-of-season party.

CyHerbia Halloween Festival. Saturday 31 October, 10:00 to 22:00, and Sunday 1 November, 10:00 to 18:00, CyHerbia Botanical Park, Avgorou. The Night of Terror on Saturday, 18:00 to 22:00, is for ages 13+. From €15.

Halloween Closing Party. Saturday 31 October, from 22:00, The Castle Club, Ayia Napa. €15 to €25.

Halloween with kids

If you have small children, go in the daytime and go outdoors. The two botanical parks are the safest bet for a whole family day: CyHerbia in Avgorou on 31 October and 1 November, and Lumina in Kornos on the same two days, which costs €8 a child. In Nicosia the family festival at Olympion School in Paleometocho runs both days too.

For something shorter, book pumpkin carving early. Paradox Museum runs its last sessions on 24 and 25 October and CyHerbia's carving on the 30th. Toddlers get their own session at Halloween Messy Play in Germasogeia, for ages 2 to 4.

Older kids who would rather not go home at all can do the sleepover at SynerJoy in Limassol, which leaves parents a free Saturday night.

Parties and nightlife

Saturday 31 October is the big night. Limassol warms up a week early, with the Grand Creole party at Guaba and Spicy Island both on Friday 23 October.

Our pick for the 31st is The Haunted Mall at City Plaza in Nicosia: a DJ night inside an abandoned shopping mall, running until 3 am. For a costume party with a view, Y2K4EVER takes over the 33rd floor of 360 Nicosia from 18:00.

In Limassol, Shrek Rave on Friday 30 October is the silliest night of the week, and Quest Pistols at Tzar has a live set from the Ukrainian band before the party. East-coast nights out end the season: The Castle Club in Ayia Napa and Diamonds Showbar in Protaras both close on Halloween.

When is Halloween 2026?

Saturday 31 October 2026. Most parties are that night. Several family events also run on Sunday 1 November, and Limassol starts a week earlier, on 23 and 24 October.

Is Halloween celebrated in Cyprus?

It is not a traditional Cypriot holiday, but it is easy to find. We list more than 30 Halloween events for 2026, and half of them are in Limassol.

Are there free Halloween events in Cyprus?

Yes. NecroComicCon at the Mall of Engomi, the Kolla market in Limassol, Wacko Maniacs on 24 October, and the Spicy Island and Seismos parties at Opus are all free.

Where can I take kids for Halloween in Cyprus?

CyHerbia in Avgorou, Lumina Botanical Gardens in Kornos and the family festival in Paleometocho all run on 31 October and 1 November in the daytime. In Paphos, Ithaki Amusement Park in Coral Bay has a party from 16:00 to 19:00 on the 31st.

Is 28 October a holiday?

Yes. 28 October is Ochi Day, a public holiday, so schools are closed that Wednesday. The Halloween pop-up café at Yfantourgeio in Nicosia is on that day.
