A landmark concept album comes to life on stage in Nicosia, Cyprus. Geoff Tate performs Operation: Mindcrime live at Downtown Live, delivering a powerful night of progressive metal storytelling, intensity, and theatrical rock performance.
The show follows the album’s narrative arc with immersive sound and commanding vocals. An opening act will be announced closer to the date. Entry is strictly for ages 18+, while table reservations require the purchase of 4–6 tickets per table and a minimum consumption of €15 per person.
Geoff Tate is an American rock vocalist and one of the most acclaimed singers in the history of progressive metal and hard rock. Born in Stuttgart, Germany and raised in the United States, Tate co-founded Queensrÿche in Seattle in 1980 and led the band through its greatest achievements, including the landmark concept album Operation: Mindcrime (1988) and the chart-topping Empire (1990). His voice — a remarkable tenor with extraordinary range and dramatic power — helped define the sound of progressive metal and influenced countless rock vocalists. Tate continues to perform both with his own band and performing the Queensrÿche catalogue in full. His appearance at DownTown Live in Nicosia brought a genuine rock legend to Cyprus's live music scene.
