A Thousand Hands

This contemporary Greek theatre production in Nicosia, Cyprus runs from March 7 to March 29, 2026 at THOC New Stage “Nikos Charalambous”. “A Thousand Hands” by Stella Voskaridou delves into the inner world of renowned Greek sculptor Yannoulis Chalepas.

Marked by mental illness, confinement and long separation from art, Chalepas’ life becomes the foundation for a dramatic exploration of creativity as both burden and salvation. Directed and choreographed by Fotis Nikolaou, the production stages a powerful confrontation between light and darkness, reason and madness, revealing art as an act of resistance against decay.
