For children ages 4–7: a warm and creative workshop, “Stories Come to Life in Clay”
First, we’ll read an engaging story, and then the children will bring it to life through clay modeling: they’ll create their own characters, heroes, and little scenes. Each child will do this in their own way, just as they feel.
The workshop is led by Elizaveta Barysheva—an educational psychologist with over 15 years of experience and a co-author of creative books. Elizaveta has worked with children ages 4 to 13 for many years: in kindergartens, schools, centers, and in one-on-one sessions.
During the workshop, children will enjoy:
- Reading an engaging story in Russian
- Discussing the plot
- Playing with natural clay
- Creating their own characters or mini-scenes based on the story
- A supportive environment for free self-expression
The session helps develop:
- fine and gross motor skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Speech and communication skills
- Imagination and creative thinking
- Confidence and the ability to express oneself through creativity
This is a warm gathering where children listen to a story, let their imaginations run wild, and express their feelings through creativity.
