Total Dictation

Total Dictation is an annual international educational campaign designed to raise awareness of literacy and the culture of writing.

A voluntary, free dictation open to everyone.

Why is this important? First, to give Russian-speaking residents and visitors to the city the opportunity to test their knowledge of the Russian language and spark an interest in improving literacy. Second, to bring together, at least for a time, people who strive to preserve their customs and traditions.
