Get ready for a delicious day! The charming village of Kaliana invites everyone to experience one of the island’s traditional delights, the beloved Kattimerka. This sweet pastry is made from flour dough, cinnamon, sugar and honey, and baked on a non-stick pan with little or no oil.

Beyond Kattimerka, festivalgoers will find a wide array of food stalls offering spoon sweets, warm halloumi and anari cheeses, freshly baked bread, halloumi pies, olive pies, zivania and much more. Take a closer look at skilled artisans through demonstrations of zivania distillation, basket weaving, candle making and handmade jewelry.
