The Municipality of Kourion and the Department of Antiquities of the Deputy Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Limassol Classic Car Club (LEPAL), present a unique cultural heritage rally on Sunday 19 April 2026, marking the International Day of Monuments and Sites 2026. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cyprus Association for Autism.
Classic and modern vehicles become "vehicles of memory," guiding participants through landmark heritage sites: Kolossi Castle, the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates, and the Monastery of Saint Nicholas of the Cats. The rally departs from Kourion Town Hall at 10:30, with arrivals from 09:30 — during which the public is welcome to meet the drivers and photograph the vehicles on display.
Participation fee is €65 per car (two persons), including a morning refreshment, coffee, and a lunch during which results are announced and trophies are awarded. Vehicle categories cover cars from 1 January 1931 through to modern 2026 vehicles, run under FIVA regulations.
