Madam Sousou: Classic Comedy in Nicosia 2026

This classic Greek comedy production by theatre group Tabula Rasa takes to the stage in Nicosia, Cyprus, for three performances on 24, 25 and 26 April 2026 at Mascarini Theatre, starting at 20:30. The show marks the group's fifth production and is performed entirely in Greek.

Madam Sousou, written by Dimitris Psathas, is a sharp satirical comedy that holds a mirror up to Greek society. It tells the story of a woman who refuses to face reality and fantasises about a life of wealth, luxury and social status — both hilarious and deeply human in equal measure. Under the direction, adaptation and musical supervision of Eleni Antoniou, with choreography by Kalia Chatzittofis, the Tabula Rasa ensemble brings fresh energy to this timeless text.
