Groove Affair - Vol.2

Hey everybody! We welcome the 2nd edition of Groove Affair! Here at Maze Club down in central Limassol - on the 25th of April.

I'm delighted to be able to curate this lineup. As promised - we'd continue hosting events bringing a sound lesser heard in Cyprus - but staying proper true to the underground! In our mission to continue growing the culture and develop a community of funk infused techno!! That lies in the groovier side of the spectrum.

Sticking with the soul of the party sound wise - I am absolutely delighted to bring you this line up.

It's a real privilege to be bringing down Rødig - to the island to come dance with us and get our body's moving. Head of Shojiki Records, an esteemed artist from the shores of Lac Leman. Hailing out of Vaud, Switzerland - from the Swiss Romande & Berlin scenes.

I promised to bring a sound aesthetic lesser heard or lesser delved into in Cyprus. And we're really hyped about curating this night. There's gonna be a lot of soul, pretty sure some breakbeat madness will go down. And a whole lotta funk.

So with that in mind, our artists from Cyprus! Both coming down from Nicosia for the night.

Astrochimp - a DJ we admire hugely here at Groove Affair! He's got a proper eclectic discography, a top producer and a music archive to rival some stores in Cyprus I think! A love for breaks and off the beaten path of dance music drives his soul and the influences are strongly relayed through his sets and selection.

SKEJ - a brother I've had the pleasure to meet and get to know over the past two years or so. A big presence on the scene who brings a variety of grooves with a signature bounce to his sets; certain to bring elements of a trance nature to the night!

When the concept was initially launched - there was a long time spent thinking about how we could differentiate it from more established parties on the island - and we've grown to realise we are truly an intimate party for DJs. As displayed at our first event - we don't mind what's coming out the speakers long as the artists are sweating and the place is jackin!!!

We're a throwback to the 90s. The party and the community will always come first!

We want to keep showing artists what the Cyprus scene is about! Cause if they don't know. They gonna know!!
