The title Moirologistres — meaning professional mourners — came from a real funeral and a word for people who get paid to do something most do for free: suffer in public.

With raw honesty, self-deprecating humour, and a deliberately dark tone, the show tackles subjects we usually avoid discussing in public — no filters, no moral lessons. Moirologistres is not a show to make you feel better. It is a show to make you laugh at the things that normally make you feel terrible.
