The Diamantidou Cultural Association presents At Zampetas' Twilight (Στου Ζampέτα το Δειλινό), a music and dance performance tribute to Giorgos Zampetas, one of the greatest figures in Greek folk music, at Rialto Theatre in Limassol, Cyprus, on Sunday 17 May 2026 at 18:30. The show runs for 90 minutes and is performed in Greek. Script and direction by Georgia Argyrou.
The performance blends music, theatre, singing, and traditional dance, transporting the audience to an era of authentic folk melodies and deep emotion. Special guest participants include the Traditional Dance Workshop Alexandra, the Choir of the Friends of Cardiac Patients Association Alexandra, and the musical ensemble Echo of the Bouzoukis conducted by Georgia Kompou.
The 10-member orchestra features bouzouki, guitar, piano, accordion, percussion, bass, and clarinet/saxophone. Soloists include Andriana Petrou, Antros Christoforou, Eleni Menelaou, Nicoletta Constantinou, Michalis Petrakidis, Panagiota Fragkou, Pambos Karaolis, Smaragda Diamantidou, and Sotiris Konstanti. The Diamantidou School Theatre Group also participates.
