LOVE, a performance conceived, directed, and choreographed by Harry Koushos, comes to Rialto Theatre On Stage in Limassol, Cyprus, across three performances on 19 and 20 May 2026. Strictly for audiences aged 18 and above. Content note: contains nudity and scenes of violence. Language: Greek and French with surtitles in both languages.
Two dancers confess on stage their personal life journeys — their experiences of violence, loss, and survival — arriving, through different paths, at a shared place: the need for connection, freedom, and love. Before the performance begins, the audience is invited to respond anonymously to a series of questions, the answers to which co-shape the stage outcome. In this way, the performers' personal stories transform into a collective experience within which each audience member can recognise themselves.
Moving constantly between mourning and celebration, grief and release, harshness and tenderness, the performance allows opposites to gradually dissolve. It is a space where violence and loss are expressed and transformed into freedom — an invitation to redefine, in deeply personal terms, the meaning of love.
Performed by Harry Koushos and Amélie Joannides. Dramaturgy: Eleni Moleski. Texts: Harry Koushos and Odysseas I. Konstantinou. Music: Kornilios Selamsis (original composition for flute) and Ecati. Flute: Dimitris Yasemidis. The project is realised within the framework of the Terpsichori 2026 programme of the Department of Contemporary Culture, Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus.

Harry Koushos is a Cypriot theatre practitioner and performer who has appeared at Rialto Theatre. Their stage work contributes to the rich theatrical culture of Cyprus, where a dedicated community of performers sustains quality theatre production across the island.
