Join us for a scenic hike along one of Cyprus’s most beautiful trails—the Adonis and Aphrodite Circular Trail!

About the route:
- Length: 10 km (loop trail)
- Difficulty: moderate (2/3)
- Elevation gain: ~330 m
- Duration: about 4 hours with stops
The route passes through picturesque forests of black pine and juniper, leading to the ruins of the medieval Pyrgos tis Rigenas monastery and the famous 860-year-old oak tree, which, according to legend, served as a resting place for the goddess Aphrodite.
At the top of Moutti tis Sotiras Hill (340 m), you’ll be treated to stunning views of:
- Polis Chrysochous Bay
- Akamas Forest
- the coastline of the Akamas Peninsula
What to bring:
- plenty of water
- hiking boots
- hiking poles (recommended)
There is a drinking water source along the route near the Regina Tower (rest stop).
