The route passes through picturesque forests of black pine and juniper, leading to the ruins of the medieval Pyrgos tis Rigenas monastery and the famous 860-year-old oak tree, which, according to legend, served as a resting place for the goddess Aphrodite.
At the top of Moutti tis Sotiras Hill (340 m), you’ll be treated to stunning views of:
Polis Chrysochous Bay
Akamas Forest
the coastline of the Akamas Peninsula

There is a drinking water source along the route near the Regina Tower (rest stop).
