Family Charity Hikes

Family hike organizer Inna invites parents with children ages 0+ to two spring family hikes:

• Sunday, April 26, 10:00 a.m.
  Arsos Village, near Limassol
  An ancient wine-making village (2,500 years of history)

What to expect:

• Tasting of churchkhela, palouze, and local sweets
• A master class on making the most delicate churchkhela (palouze + nuts in grape juice)
• guided by local artisan Elena—one of the island’s best churchkhela makers
• all ingredients 100% natural: grapes and nuts from Arsos
• a fun family quiz at the museum in an old house: tools and daily life of a Cypriot family 100 years ago
• An ancient temple housing a relic of the Apostle Philip (optional)
• Village secrets and legends (there are plenty of them from 2,500 years ago)
• A fun interactive show with gnomes: every young tourist will receive a gift

Duration: ~2.5 hours

child – €35 (workshop + toy gift + tasting)
adult – €5 (tasting)

  Green hills (like in New Zealand, only closer)

What to expect:

• tour of a honey factory and tasting of real honey
• Bee Explorer: treasure hunt with riddles and bee secrets
• Plant & Decorate: painting pots and planting a honey plant — to take home for your balcony
• Hike to the colorful lakes + legends and myths about plants
• At the end — gnomes with questions about bees and gifts
