


The summer concert will take place in the beautiful garden of Technopolis 20, featuring two outstanding musicians—Lyudmila Pavlova (violin) and Jakub Otčenášek (cello).
Audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy an elegant evening of music under the open sky, surrounded by the unique atmosphere of the Technopolis 20 garden. The program will feature the following works:
Jakub Otčenášek began his musical journey at age 14, taking up the piano out of curiosity. A year later, he took up the cello and quickly achieved significant success, joining the Europera Jugendorchester at age 16. At age 17, he began studying with Renata Strašrybková at the Prague Conservatory. In 2012, he graduated by performing Schumann’s Cello Concerto. He then continued his studies at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität under Lilia Schulz-Bairo. In 2016, Otčenášek was appointed principal cellist of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
Lyudmila Pavlova is a Czech violinist who performs solo and chamber music programs both in her home country and abroad. Her motto is love and passion combined with music. In 2018, Lyudmila was the overall winner of the “New European Talents” International Violin Competition named after Master Vasa Prichoda, as well as a laureate of the Bohuslav Martinů Competition, receiving a prize for the best performance of his work and an award from the Jaroslav and Zorka Zich Foundation. In June 2019, she received a gold medal with highest honors at the 4th Manhattan International Music Competition.
Jakub Otčenášek is a Czech author and screenwriter, son of the celebrated Czech novelist Jan Otčenášek (Romeo, Juliet and Darkness). He has written fiction and screenplays and appears at cultural and literary events. His appearance in Cyprus likely relates to a film festival or literary/cultural event.
Lyudmila Pavlova is a Russian-language performer appearing at events in Cyprus, serving the island's significant Russian-speaking community.
