The AstroVerce Astronomy Club Cyprus, in collaboration with The Cyprus Planetarium, invites you to a unique night dedicated to the spectacular Perseids Meteor Shower 2026, at Amiantos Astropark.

The Perseids are one of the most impressive meteor showers of the year, with dozens of “shooting stars” crossing the sky every hour, creating a breathtaking spectacle under the summer sky of Cyprus.

Bring your cameras and capture the magic of the Perseids, while members of our club will be there to guide you in both astrophotography and observation of the phenomenon.

There will also be 5 telescopes available on-site for observing the night sky.

The peak of the Perseids will occur on the night of Wednesday, August 12, continuing into the early morning hours of Thursday, August 13.

We would like to warmly thank the Department of Forests for their permission and support in making this event possible.

No white light (flash) allowed
No fire-related activities (no open fires, charcoal, etc.)
