Alpha Square presents "The Man Who Broke the Code" by Hugh Whitemore, based on Andrew Hodges' book "Alan Turing: The Enigma," translated by Andreas Araouzos and directed by Eleni Anastasiou. The story of Alan Turing, the father of computer science and artificial intelligence, who cracked the German Enigma code and helped end World War II at least two years earlier.

An eccentric genius who was prosecuted for breaking another code — the taboo of homosexuality. The play reveals who he was, what happened to him, and why, highlighting one of the most wronged figures in modern history. Derek Jacobi originated the role of Turing in the 1986 West End premiere.
