About This Event
This two-day European Day Natura 2000 celebration in Paphos, Cyprus brings together environmental education and nature exploration for all ages. Organized by the Department of Environment and Terra Cypria as part of the "Pandoteira" project, the event showcases Cyprus's natural heritage through hands-on activities.
Activities include bird ringing and release, interactive games, crafts, hiking to Kremioti waterfall, invertebrate workshops, local products workshops with village tours, and bird feather workshops. Day two features educational hiking on the circular "Smigies" trail in Akamas Peninsula.
