About This Event

Watermelon is certainly the king of summer fruits and Cyprus summer kicks off with a slice of juicy watermelon paired with halloumi cheese. If you haven’t tasted this heavenly sweet and salty combination, you can’t say that you have experienced summer the Cypriot way.

The most vibrant and beloved festival in the Cypriot countryside is back this July! An event filled with music, traditions, summer flavors, and a festive atmosphere.

The 17th All-Cyprus Watermelon Cultural Festival 2026 is one of the most popular and refreshing summer events in Cyprus, attracting thousands of locals and tourists every year. The organizers promise a packed program, surprises, and lots of fun, with more details to be announced shortly.

This traditional festival is dedicated to the main symbol of the Cypriot summer—the watermelon. The organizers transform the sports center into a large-scale festival venue, where guests can expect an atmosphere of authentic Cypriot hospitality, fun, and cool refreshment. Visitors will be able to sample watermelon in a wide variety of culinary forms, enjoy traditional summer flavors, experience cultural events, and listen to live music.

It’s the perfect place to relax with the whole family or a group of friends.
