Experience the legendary Nikos Xylouris in a powerful musical theatre production celebrating 90 years since his birth, touring Cyprus in September 2026.
The production combines live music, unpublished photographs, rare audio recordings, and compelling narrative. Written by Zacharaina Petraki and directed by Nikorestis Haniotakis, the performance features iconic Xylouris songs in new orchestrations by Andreas Katsigiannis. Ourania Xylouris, Nikos' life companion, contributed significantly as dramaturgy consultant.
The cast features Aimilanos Stamatakis in the role of Nikos Xylouris and Melina Kana as narrator. The production presents not only the greatness of his voice but reveals the moral and spiritual weight of a personality who marked modern Greek culture. This immersive experience blends testimony, art, and emotion, portraying Xylouris as both a symbolic voice and the inner universe of a man who sang with the soul of a nation.
