Kataklysmos Flood Festival: Traditional Cyprus Festival in Ayia Napa

The Kataklysmos Flood Festival returns to Ayia Napa for a three-day celebration from May 30 to June 1, 2026, at Saint George Square and the picturesque harbour of Ayia Napa, Cyprus. This traditional festival combines Cypriot heritage with contemporary entertainment, offering visitors unique moments of culture and authentic hospitality by the sea.

The program features two major concerts with explosive Greek singer Paola on Sunday, May 31, and popular Cypriot performer Marianna Papamakariou on Saturday, May 30. Traditional Cypriot dance performances by cultural associations "Yiasoumeia" from Dasous Achnas and "Avkoritissa Foni" will showcase the island's folk heritage.

Visitors will enjoy poetry competitions, love song contests, daily fish grilling from 19:00-21:30, traditional fishing craft demonstrations, and the divine liturgy featuring the holy cross immersion ceremony in the sea waters. The festival celebrates the biblical flood story while honoring the island's maritime traditions.
