The Color of Cyprus. Art contest for children and teenagers

A creative contest, The Color of Cyprus, has launched in Cyprus, dedicated to visually exploring the island through color, light, and personal perception. The project invites young artists and everyone working with visual language.

Participants will be able to show their interpretation of Cyprus — from natural landscapes to the urban environment and cultural codes.

The main idea of the contest is to see Cyprus not as a postcard but as a complex palette: from the copper tones of the earth to the turquoise of the sea and bright seasonal contrasts, where color becomes not just an aesthetic but a means of storytelling and observation.

Participation is open to children and teenagers of any skill level. Inspiration is the main requirement. The organizers are ready to support talents.

What awaits participants:

• autumn exhibition at Art Square

• the winners' works will be sent to an exhibition in Paris

• some works will be purchased for residential complex interiors

Competition stages:

• March - 15 June 2026 - creation of works according to the competition criteria

• until 15 June 2026 - submission of works and jury selection for the exhibition

• October 2026 - exhibition and competition program at Art Square

Children and teenagers aged 6-18 are invited to participate.

The organizers also invite schools, art studios, and art classes to participate
