The creative contest The Color of Cyprus has launched in Cyprus, dedicated to a visual exploration of the island through color, light, and personal perception. The project invites young artists and anyone who works with visual language.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their interpretation of Cyprus—from natural landscapes to urban environments and cultural codes.
The main idea of the competition is to see Cyprus not as a postcard, but as a complex palette: from the coppery hues of the earth to the turquoise of the sea and the vivid seasonal contrasts, where color becomes not just aesthetics, but a means of storytelling and observation.
Participation is open to children and teenagers of all skill levels. The main thing is inspiration. The organizers are ready to support talent.
What awaits participants:
- an autumn exhibition at Art Square
- the winners’ works will be sent to an exhibition in Paris
- some of the works will be purchased for the interiors of residential complexes
Contest stages:
- March – June 15, 2026 – creation of works according to contest criteria
- by June 15, 2026 – submission of works and jury selection for exhibition participation
