From 30 May to 1 June, Limassol’s seafront will host one of Cyprus’s most vibrant and beloved festivals – Kataklysmós. This traditional festival of water and the sea will once again bring together residents and visitors alike in an atmosphere of music, dance, maritime entertainment and cultural events.
This year’s programme features music, dance and interactive performances, shadow theatre, entertainment for children and adults, cruises on the open sea off the coast of Limassol, and spectacular concerts.
Kataklysmós is a unique Cypriot festival linked to the Orthodox feast of Pentecost and the island’s ancient maritime traditions. For many years, it has remained a symbol of summer, the sea and cultural heritage.

Kostas Makedonas (Κώστας Μακεδόνας) is a Greek singer active in the laïká and popular music scene, known for his energetic performances and popular recordings. He regularly performs at venues and events across Greece and Cyprus.
