About This Event

The Cyprus Opera Society (Cyprus Lyric Stage / Cyprus Opera Society) presents Gaetano Donizetti's beloved comic opera L'Elisir d'Amore (The Elixir of Love) at the Limassol Patticheio Municipal Theatre, Cyprus, on 13 and 15 September 2026 at 20:30. This acclaimed production unites an outstanding international and Cypriot cast with the Limassol Camerata Orchestra in a charming 1950s Italian countryside setting.

🎟️ Ticket prices start from €30.

The production is conducted by Maestro Piergiorgio Del Nunzio and directed by stage director Paolo Baiocco. The cast features soprano Maria Papaioannou as Adina, tenor Lorenzo Papasodero as Nemorino, bass-baritone Domenico Cagliuso as Dulcamara, baritone Marios Andreou as Belcore, and soprano Giulia Bruni as Giannetta. The musical performances are complemented by theatrical Greek-language interludes narrated by Irene Cacoyanni.
