Mirror

About This Event
Written and Directed by Savva Savelyev
Based on Heinrich Böll's short story The Silence of Dr. Murke and Kurt Vonnegut's novel Slaughterhouse-Five.
What happens when the past suddenly comes face to face with the future?
Munich. 1965. Twenty years after the end of World War II.
Inside the apartment of a distinguished professor of art history, an ordinary conversation unexpectedly turns into a gripping psychological confrontation. A rebellious young man and an acclaimed academic are bound together by a secret rooted deep in the wartime past.
What begins as a meeting between two strangers evolves into a powerful clash of generations, intellects, and moral convictions. Every question becomes a challenge. Every answer, an attempt to defend a personal truth.
As the tension builds, the boundaries between accuser and accused begin to dissolve, and the two men become reflections of one another. Who is the judge? Who is the victim? And can the past ever truly be left behind when it continues to shape the present?
Mirror is an intense psychological drama that keeps audiences captivated through its razor-sharp dialogue and emotional depth. Blending intellectual suspense with profound human insight, the play invites viewers to reflect on memory, guilt, responsibility, and the choices that define us.
