About This Event

The 21st Lemesos International Documentary Festival is one of Cyprus's most anticipated cinema events, taking place in Limassol from 1 to 8 August 2026 at the atmospheric Ceronia Hall within the Lanitis Carob Mill complex. Organised by BRAVE NEW CULTURE, the festival presents over 20 international documentary films across eight evenings, with all screenings carrying Greek and English subtitles. The festival is open to adults aged 18 and over.

🎟️ Ticket prices start from €5 per film (€35 festival pass for all films).

The programme spans a diverse range of documentary storytelling - from personal portraits and political exposés to nature, culture, and urban explorations - drawn from filmmakers around the world. On Friday 7 August, the screening of The Urban Condition (Η Αστική Συνθήκη) is followed by a live Q&A with the curator and participating artists, and the night concludes with a Friday Night Afterparty at Tapper Bar in collaboration with The Island Club.
