Always Smiling and Smiled Upon

«ALWAYS SMILING AND SMILED UPON»

Singing: Rita Antonopoulou, Giannis Kotsiras, Dimitris Basis, and Tania Tsanaklidou.

The music and songs of Thanos Mikroutsikos are coming to Cyprus with a group of outstanding performers who will unite their voices. A concert featuring the beloved songs of the composer who left his mark on Greek music with his work, who loved people and was loved by them in return.

Beloved songs that many generations have walked alongside, sometimes dancing on the shark's fin and sometimes to the rhythm of Rosa. Always smiling and smiled upon, dreaming of journeys and a sea by the stairs.

His own people, who loved both him and his music, will be there, honouring Thanos once again. The conductor is, as always, Thymios Papadopoulos, Thanos's beloved musician, his alter ego, as he called him whenever he stood beside him on stage. A great group remembering Thanos saying**«I want to be able to make people feel that they are not alone».**

Thanos's songs will always be here. To reveal to us what is hidden and the miracles. The wounds and the struggles. The dreams and the promise that days will come... and that perhaps the most beautiful thing of all has not yet been said.
