About the Artists

Antonis Chourdakis is a musician who performs Greek and Cypriot traditional music on the lyra and as a vocalist. He is one of the featured performers at the 2nd Machalepion Festival, a free open-air celebration of live music and local culture in Amiantos, Limassol.

Areti Ketime (born 1989) is a Greek singer and santouri player who began performing as a child and turned professional at 15. Discovered and mentored by Yorgos Dalaras, she performs a broad repertoire of Greek traditional and folk music and has appeared at major events, including the 2004 Athens Olympics opening ceremony. In Cyprus she performs at the 2nd Machalepion Festival in Amiantos, Limassol.
