Children’s Honey Festival

Head to the village of Melini for a sweet day filled with honey and fun! This is a unique festival dedicated to children and bees—the future of our planet!

The Children’s Honey Festival was created as a gathering for people interested in the natural world—and especially the amazing world of bees. Children will be able to explore, discover new things, and find inspiration through creative workshops, fairy tales, songs, a variety of flavors and aromas, music, art, and crafts.

Together, we’ll build “bee hotels,” make natural cosmetics using beeswax, and craft projects from recycled materials. Plus, there will be incredibly delicious honey treats that are simply finger-licking good!

Children will learn more about the life of bees, the role they play in our food chain, and just how important bees are to all of our planet’s ecosystems.

The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by performances from children’s dance groups and live music. Children will also have the chance to meet and chat with beekeepers, exhibition participants, and vendors selling honey and bee products.
