28th International Road Race "Marios Agathangelou"

The 28th International Road Race "Marios Agathangelou" returns on Sunday, October 11, 2026, continuing a tradition of nearly three decades that promotes the athletic ideal, "fair play," and love for sports.

Registrations for the race are now open, inviting runners of all ages and levels to participate and join the starting line of this historic race.

Dedicated to the memory of athlete and educator Marios Agathangelou, the race has become a landmark for Cypriot running sports, attracting hundreds of runners from Cyprus and abroad each year.

Last year's event broke all previous participation records, with hundreds of runners, families, children, amateurs, and professional athletes flooding the coastal front of Limassol, confirming the race's enduring appeal and its position as one of the most significant sporting events in the region.

Routes

The 28th International Road Race "Marios Agathangelou" includes routes for all ages and fitness levels:

• 10 km – Men and Women
• 5 km – Men, Women, and Corporate Race
• 1 km – Children's Race (up to 15 years old)
