Orange Festival

Sweet, luscious, juicy, tasty, flavorful and incredibly succulent are only a few words to describe Cyprus oranges. Their illustrious reputation reflects decades of experience and skills by Cypriot growers. Orange trees and fruit are so deeply linked with Cypriot culture that they are often encountered in traditional songs: “Orange-tree of Karavas” or “Orange-tree of Varosha”.

If you want to smell the scent of freshly cut oranges or taste homemade, orange-based products, Miliou Orange Festival is the place to be! Miliou is a village in Pafos district, inhabited by 50 merely villagers and surrounded by citrus groves, vine yards and an unspoiled countryside.

Stroll around Miliou village square to sample and buy orange-juice, orange jams, orange spoon sweets, orange liqueur and orange cakes. You can even try our unique orange flavored beer.

The festival also features Cyprus music, songs and dances.
