About This Event
On August 22, the village of Mamonía, in the Paphos district, will host a vibrant summer celebration dedicated to one of Cyprus’s most beloved fruits—the juicy and fragrant orange.
The festival will be a wonderful opportunity to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind for one evening and head to an authentic Cypriot village, where traditions, music, local cuisine, and hospitality create a special atmosphere.
Guests can look forward to a packed program featuring traditional Cypriot and Greek delicacies, music, and dancing. The main symbol of the evening will, of course, be the orange—a fruit that has long been part of the island’s agricultural culture and culinary traditions.
Nikos Romanos, Agni Irodou, and Irodotos will set the musical tone for the evening. Accompanied by live music, you’ll be able to enjoy a summer evening, learn about Cypriot traditions, and dance alongside the locals.
It’s especially delightful that the festival takes place in Mamonia—a small village where such celebrations become true gatherings of the entire community. Here, you can do more than just attend a concert; you can experience the atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot village festival: long tables, homemade treats, music, dancing, and socializing until late in the evening.
Admission: €20 for adults, €15 for children
The adult ticket price includes food and one drink.
