Hampis Tsangaris: Printmaking Workshops

Cypriot printmaker Hampis Tsangaris, the first Cypriot artist to receive the European Heritage Award by Europa Nostra, was fortunate to apprentice under the acclaimed Greek engraver A. Tassos, a mentor who profoundly shaped his artistic journey. In memory of his teacher and with a deep sense of gratitude, Hampis founded the School of Engraving in 1995 in the village of Platanisteia, where he has been offering free engraving lessons and countless workshops ever since.
