Madame Marianna

«Madame Marianna» by Andreas Aristotelous

The detective comedy loved in Athens is coming to Cyprus for the first time!

Purple Sparrow Productions returns with a bang this new season with a detective parody full of twists, mystery and plenty of laughter.

Following its successful run in Athens, Andreas Aristotelous's hilarious comedy «MADAME MARIANNA», directed by Giannis Kleideris, comes to Cyprus for the first time in a brand-new production by Panos Strouthos, ready to shake up the theatre scene!

The Plot

Piraeus, 1967. A crime shakes up a brothel; its owner is found stabbed.

The police arrive immediately and lock the employees and customers inside the state-of-the-art brothel until the culprit is found.

A special investigator from the Hellenic Police puts a brilliant plan into action to expose the murderer.

But nothing goes as expected. All the suspects are put through trials and obstacles. What connection did they all have with the murdered prostitute? Why did each of them want to see her dead?

Who ultimately "got" Madame Marianna?

Thanasis Ioannou?

Elena Efstathiou?

Elena Christofi?

Dena Ioannou?

Marios Stylianou?

Or Thanasis Drakopoulos?

Come and uncover it for yourself!

But be careful: don't reveal the ending to your friends!
