About This Event
COPYBET presents the 2nd solo stand-up comedy show by Hambis Damianou, titled "Breaking the Ice" — live at Black Brick in Nicosia, Cyprus, on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 20:30. This is an unmissable night of raw, personal comedy from one of Cyprus's most beloved stand-up comedians, produced by Motion Comedy.
Having done some honest self-reflection, Hambis is back to introduce himself all over again — in the only way he knows how: by breaking the ice. Over the course of the show he'll be tackling an eclectic mix of very personal topics:
— His grandmother's complicated relationship with TikTok
— Why he's scared of having kids
— Why he's been dubbed the Secretary-General of Cancellations
— The one very specific reason he hates Christmas
— The best hate comments he's ever received
— His experience in central prison
— How comedy helps you get through loss
A show packed with personal stories, self-deprecating humour, crowd work, superpowers, and ice-breaking moments on real-life wounds. Grab your friends, your partner — or just come on your own!
