10th Agricultural Culture Festival by CAPO in Protaras

About This Event
The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (CAPO), with the support of the Paralimni-Deryneia Municipality, is organising the 10th Agricultural Culture Festival on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2026, from 17:00 to 23:00, at the Municipal Square "Lefkola" in Protaras.
The Festival is held under the auspices of H.E. the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, and features a rich programme dedicated to the Cypriot countryside, tradition, gastronomy and culture.
Throughout the two-day event, stalls will offer exhibitions and sales of traditional Cypriot products, while visitors will have the opportunity to discover and taste authentic Cypriot flavours. Traditional dances, music and theatrical performances will also take place, along with creative activities for children.

FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER
- 17:00 - 23:00 Stall operation
- 18:00 - 21:00 "On the Paths of Tradition" with the AHK Cultural Association of Larnaca, Famagusta and Dhekelia, featuring traditional Cypriot dances, songs and theatrical performances inspired by the customs and traditions of our homeland.
- 21:00 - 23:00 Concert "With the Moon by Boat" with Frederiki Tombazou and Dimitris Mesimeris.
SATURDAY 3 OCTOBER
- 17:00 - 23:00 Stall operation
- 18:00 - 20:00 Traditional programme featuring:
- The "By the Lake" Cultural Workshop of Paralimni
- The "Drymos" Dance Group of Deryneia
- The "Minorites" Cultural Workshop of Frenaros
- The Saint George Cultural Association of Vrysoulles-Acheritou
- 19:00 - 21:00 Cooking demonstration by Chef Christos Christodoulou, who will prepare a traditional Cypriot dish to be offered free of charge to visitors.
- 20:00 - 21:00 Official part of the Festival, attended by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides.
- 21:00 - 23:00 Grand concert with Christos Thivaios, as part of his anniversary tour "30 Years - Only Opposite".
