About This Event
After :noon Hybrid Space hosts the exhibition STAY STILL \ notes on life drawing by Evita Chrysostomou , a presentation of drawings created through years of life drawing and documenting a continuous process of observation and response to the human body.
Life drawing is an experience that the artist returns to again and again. An experience of waiting, uncertainty, experimentation, decisions, and the effort to hold still an ephemeral moment.
Hundreds of poses, countless traces and lines, and each encounter different. The exhibition is a record of interaction with the model, the space, the people, the materials, the moment, but also with oneself.
Content note: The exhibition includes drawings of the nude body.
