About This Event

Tzivertia: Living Structures is a free contemporary art, ecology and local tradition programme taking place across three villages in the Pitsilia region of Troodos, Cyprus, from 19 September to 25 October 2026. Organised by Threading Stories, the project transforms nature trails into living sites of artistic creation, drawing inspiration from the traditional clay beehives known as Tzivertia. 🌿

Participants will hike through the landscape, collect raw natural materials — clay, stone and plant fibres — and collaboratively sculpt habitats for native bee species. Each village hosts three events: a nature hike, a hands-on sculptural workshop, and an open public exhibition. Hikes and workshops require advance reservation; exhibitions are open to all with no booking needed.
