About This Event
An Evening Under the Moon is a unique outdoor astronomy and cultural event in Limassol, Cyprus, organised by The Cyprus Planetarium. Taking place on Saturday, 26 September 2026, from 19:30 onwards at the Church of Prophet Elias in Agridia, the evening blends faith, heritage, and stargazing into one unforgettable experience under the night sky.
The evening opens with a welcome and introduction, followed by a bilingual presentation (English & Greek) on the Moon, its phases, and the myths surrounding it. Guests then enjoy wine and bites before moving into high-magnification telescope observations of the Moon, Saturn, and other bright celestial objects — weather and visibility permitting. 🌕
