About This Event
On Sunday, 1 November 2026, Nicosia will host the traditional gastronomic and cultural evening ‘Nicosia Savours Palouze’. Experienced artisans from the mountain village of Fini will travel to the capital to treat residents to a hot traditional grape-based dessert — palouze.
What to expect at the event:
Tasting and purchase of a traditional Cypriot dessert made from grape juice, prepared by artisans from Fini using authentic recipes.
A display and sale of unique Finiot ceramics, handmade crafts and other local produce.
A gathering of fellow villagers, expats and all friends of the village of Fini in the very heart of the capital.

Lissaridis Foundation, Agion Avenue, Nicosia.
Landmark: The Foundation’s building is directly opposite the Church of the Holy Confessors.
