Kindness to Animals - Animal Kindness Day in Limassol

On October 17, Limassol will host a special Kids for Kindness charity event, which will help children learn more about caring for animals and support local shelters through their actions.

On this day, the young participants, together with the organizers, will visit several local animal shelters to learn about their work, spend time with the animals, and help those who are especially in need of care.

After the meeting, the children will split into small groups. Each group will visit one of three shelters:
• Happy Animals
• Malcolm’s Cats
• Dog Valley

Groups are assigned at random, but when registering, you can specify friends with whom your child would like to be placed.

Saturday, October 17.
2:00–5:00 p.m.
Meeting place: the hall at Saint Georgios Havouzas Church, Limassol.
Participation: free.
No age restrictions.
Maximum number of participants: 70 children.

The organizers also remind participants to bring water and a light snack. Kids for Kindness participants will need a branded T-shirt, cap, and lanyard. For new participants, these will be provided on the day of the event.

This is a wonderful opportunity to show children that helping isn’t just about words: care, attention, and a little time can truly change someone’s life.

Registration is required. Most spots for the event are already filled, but you can sign up for the waiting list—the organizers will contact you if a spot becomes available.
